As the bell signalling the end of lunch rang, an announcement was made over the speaker. "Please proceed to the gym for the assembly," a female voice said. "Once again, please proceed to the gym."
Frowning, Lia stood up and tossed out her trash, glancing at Zeke and Zane. "Well, it's about time to get going," she said. "Wonder what the assembly is about. Probably something really dumb." Glancing out the window, Lia noticed it was pouring rain. She nearly jumped as thunder suddenly boomed, thinking that the sudden downpour was certainly strange. Then again, the clouds this morning were pretty abnormal too. She grabbed her backpack and started heading for the gym, hoping Zeke and Zane would follow.
