I wish someone would care enough
To hear my silent screams;
That is something hopeless,
I leave it for broken dreams
There is a side of my heart
That leaps and sings
But she was left far behind
Because someone broke her wings.
I used to be so very strong
A face bringing people to knees
But now I am sad and thoughtful
A face drowned out by seas
Would you dare to meet my eyes
And tell me I'm not insane
I know you'd be lying
But I'd take it like rain;
Soft and short, a little cold,
But lovely all the same
Accompanied by a roaring wind
That isn't quite as tame
And when it stops you realize
As uncomfortable as it was
It makes the flowers grow
And the bees buzz
So I shall watch your wrath
Fix me and fix the earth
Then we will calmly celebrate
The Spring's rebirth
As I wallow in my head
Tuck sad thoughts away
Breathing but dead
And ignoring my insanity for today.

I liked how Spring drew to the insanity you felt, the poem was well centered and I liked it very much well done.
