I lay Eyes closed clenching your hand for fear you never leave but still you do and I open my Eyes looking for you, gone without a trace, my lace on my shoe is missing and you too.

I look everywhere and your nowhere to be seen maybe it was a Dream and you're probably my Sweet Dream and this is now my Nightmare.

Maybe I went through life with my Eyes Closed, there I found you laying on the river bank with water sweeping over your feet and I met the moon gazing down on you with a radiance of Light I was relieved to find you and I'll never let you go again.
