eve burst through the doors of engkish halfway through. she had unfortunetly failed most of her sophomore year so she ended up back in a class with underclassmen as sge sat next to some girl and guy, (lia and zeke) taking a drink of her frappe.

Sophie laughed, trying to suppress it so she wouldn't be heard. "Okay, I'll add that one to my list," she joked quietly, pretending to make a check mark on her paper. "Oh, or what about if the teacher tells you to use a number 2 pencil and you use a number 3? Totally rebellious."
Lia noticed another girl come in late. She wondered if the teacher even cared that much - he was still blabbering about Lord of the Flies. First she and Zeke were tardy, then that new girl Zoey, then the girl with the coffee who had sat down next to her. Maybe she should just get here late every day.

Zoey didn't much care about class she was still new so she didn't actually care about what they were doing she looked around looking for people to talk too by chance she saw Lia and Zeke doing nothing so she thought they were also new and asked "Are you two new at this school as well?" Zoey waited for a reply from the two students.

Lia turned around, facing the girl while their teacher had their back to them. "Yeah, except I actually showed up on the first day of school like a normal person," she whispered in the lowest voice she possibly could. "How would you know if we're new, anyway, if you just showed up here?"

Landon raised an eyebrow, "Number three pencils exist?" He asked.
Eve rolled her eyes as she spoke to the girl, "because in this school everyone knows everyone and the way your eyes bug out of your little forehead proves you don't know what the h*** you're doing." She stated, as if the girl wasn't that bright.

Sophie laughed, nodding. "Yeah! One time, I went to buy pencils, and there was a sale on a certain type, so I bought them. But they turned out to be number 3 pencils," she explained. "I didn't know they existed either, before that."

As the teacher told everyone to break up into groups to discuss a story they'd read for homework, Lia arched an eyebrow at the girl next to her. That was completely uncalled for, she decided. "Well, if you actually bothered to get here in time instead of showing up late, you'd know that girl Zoey is new and therefore doesn't know everyone in school. So I guess if you think I'm stupid, it takes one to know one. And by the way, I wasn't even talking to you," she scoffed, turning to face the other girl, Zoey. "Right...." she trailed off. "Well, I could say the same about you. You have a certain...feel too." Zoey didn't exactly seem like she'd end up being Lia's best friend or anything, but Lia decided she'd rather talk to her than the rude girl.

Charlotte leaned back in the desk, flipping her long hair over her shoulder. "Everyone is talking, so I'm just gonna stop paying attention." She said with a slight laugh. She turned and smiled at BLake
Kade clamped her hand over her mouth hiding her laughter. Eric tapped Jo lightly on the shoulder. "Are you okay over here?" He smiled
