Eve chuckled a little as she rolled her eyes "And neither of you have friends except for each other." She commented back as she started working by herself.
Opal stuck her tongue out playfully, "Which ones did you get wrong?"

Lia frowned at the rude girl. She didn't consider Zoey her friend, but she didn't feel like correcting the girl. "Actually, I have plenty of friends. But with your kind of attitude, I doubt you have any," she retorted, wondering if Zeke would like to work in a group together.

Lia thought that maybe the reason the girl was so rude was because she didn't have any friends. She wondered if maybe she shouldn't have said that, but her temper had gotten the better of her. "Hey, let's start over," she said. "I'm Lia. If you don't have any friends, I'll be your friend. If you want." She held out her hand, figuring that this could go one of two ways - either the girl would accept, or (more likely, Lia figured), she'd be turned down in probably a nasty way. Lia waited to see which it was.

Lia kept her hand held out for a little bit longer after the girl turned away, but then her arm got tired so she put it down. "Yeah, whatever, don't tell me your name," she murmured, turning back to her work, her hair falling in her face. As she stared at the list of discussion questions the class was supposed to be talking about, she wondered if maybe she wasn't the only person in this school who wasn't good at making friends.

Zeke looked at the note Lia gave him and noticed her get practically double teamed by two girls. Zeke wanted to step in and help Lia, but he just couldn't. (Almost as if he was a puppet and his puppeteer was off doing something nonsensical... sorry bout that.) But then he saw Lia resolve the whole issue and offer to be friends with rude girl. Her response was very predictable, but she asked anyway. Those two may not be best buddies anytime soon, but Zeke had a new found respect for Lia. He took the note that Lia slipped him earlier and wrote "Don't worry about them, you handled that way better than I could have" and handed it to her.

opal smiled as she glanced at his sheet "not major mistakes. they're minor" she pointed out.
landon let out a small yawn.

Sophie looked at Landon as he yawned, giggling a little. "Don't fall asleep in class, then you'll really be a delinquent!" she joked, whispering to him.
Lia looked at the note that Zeke had handed back to her, smiling a bit. "I didn't really do much," she wrote, slipping it back on his desk. She looked back at the girl who'd been rude to her, wondering why she'd offered to be friends with her when the other girl clearly didn't. That was kind of embarassing, now that Lia thought about it, and her cheeks flushed before she turned back to her work.
