Time
What is time?
Some might say that it's just a dimension
A unit of measurement.
I, for one, think Time is much more than that.
Is it a dimension of sorts?
Well, yes, but not in a direct sense.
You see...
Time is much more than a mere unit.
Time gives us order to our world.
Without it, reality would be out of our comprehension.
It is an illusion.
A creation of the mind of life.
I bet right now
You're scratching you head.
Mumbling and thinking to yourself,
“What is he talking about?”
Well, what time is it?
Now, go and do something you enjoy.
Play a video game.
Read a book.
Do SOMETHING
Now check the time.
Time whizzed by very quickly, huh?
Two hours passed,
As if mere minutes went by.
There you go.
Is it beginning to make sense?
Time is a sense created by your mind,
To give reality order.
When your mind was focused,
On something that it enjoys,
Time went faster.
Don't say it did not.
Time gives order to the chaos of reality.
Without it,
Everything would happen at once.
Chaos would ensue.
Time set our path
Time decided our beginning,
And our ends.
Time is order.
Without Time,
Everything would be a cluster.
A jumbled mess.
Chaos.
With Time,
There is a Past, Present, and Future.
A neat line.
Order.
Time...
Time is order.
It is our savior from Chaos.
It is what gives us Order.
Time is Reality

An Illusion that gives us purpose
An Illusion that we can see through
An Illusion that shouldn't be tampered with
An Illusion that gives us Order.

Author's Notes: This has been stuck in my head all day. "What is time?" is a question that will never be truly answered. It's an interesting question where any answer is acceptable. It's an interesting subject that will forever keep me curious. My question to you, the reader, what do you think time is?
