Hey guys, my name is Chris. Stark is just a fancy name from House Stark of Game of Thrones.. and because I like how it looks with my name. Dork moment: over.
I'm a seventeen year-old living in Brooklyn, New York. A little about my background is that I am Puerto Rican but grew up here in NY relatively close to Manhattan. I've always had a sense to write stories of my own. I started off with poems, very gloomy poems that are lost now because I had a habit of throwing away anything I deemed useless. Yes, I regret it now because they were my early works! I graduated into writing a few short stories that were again pretty deep and dark.
I discovered an amazing poet/writer named Edgar Allen Poe and his work really got to me. Alone was the first poem I read by him following Annabelle Lee. After those two, I had to read more. Poe's life and the way he expressed it in his writing inspired me to put my own life onto paper. I then began writing my own story but because I wanted to add some excitement to it, I threw in some angels, demons and other supernatural beings to make things fun. However, I excelled in school more than I ever have so I had the privilege of being in more advanced classes which meant a heavier work load. All that damn reading and essay writing I was assigned made me want to never sit on my behind and write again but instead go out and explore. So that's what I did.
Now I'm coming back into the groove of writing and roleplaying so hopefully I will improve from that.
and that is a piece of who I am.
